How to setup your Canvas in Canva / Photoshop:
Step 1:

Open your design software and select 'Create New Design'.

Step 2:

Set the document dimensions directly to 3600 x 4800 pixels or set it to 12 x 16 inches and ensure the DPI/PPI slider is set to 300.

Step 3:

Ensure the background is completely Transparent.

Step 4:

Export strictly as a high-quality PNG file. JPEGs do not support transparency and will print a solid white background.
