Send Orders from Any Store to Merch Factory with Claude
Merch Factory does not need to know which store an order came from. Claude reads the order where it lives and hands Merch Factory the same plain details every time: who it is for, which products, which size, and what the customer paid. Merch Factory then prices it, looks up the real courier rate and checks the artwork, exactly as it does for an order you place yourself.
Start with Channel Orders
If your Shopify, WooCommerce or Wix store is already connected to Merch Factory, the orders are already there: they are the ones on your Channel Orders page. Just tell Claude "process my Shopify orders". Claude lists the open ones, shows which lines match your saved products (a line matches when its SKU starts with MF-), asks you about any line it cannot match, lets you pick a courier from live prices, and prepares each order as a draft. When Claude works from Channel Orders, Merch Factory does not send it your customers' phone numbers, emails or addresses: it builds the draft from the order it already holds, and keeps updating tracking in your store by itself. (If you also connect your store to Claude, or let it use your browser, Claude can read that store's own customer data.)
Cash on delivery orders always wait for your confirmation. Orders already placed, shipped or cancelled are skipped, and an order can never be placed twice.
Other ways Claude can read a store
The options below are for stores that are not connected to Merch Factory, or for extra detail the Channel Orders page does not hold.
1. The store's own connector. If your store has a connector for Claude (Shopify does, and others may), Claude uses it to read new orders and, later, to write tracking back.
2. Claude in your browser. For a store without a connector, such as a Wix site, a custom shop or a marketplace admin page, Claude in Chrome can open the orders page you are signed in to and read it like a person would.
3. Merch Factory's own integrations (Channel Orders). Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix have a built-in integration that brings orders in and sends tracking back automatically. Use it wherever you can; the two options above are for everything else.
How an order travels
Read. Claude opens the order and notes the customer, address, items, sizes and the amount paid. It labels the store (for example shopify, wix or chrome) so order number #1001 from two shops never gets mixed up.
Match. Each item has to become one of your saved products. The first time, Claude shows you its best match and asks you to confirm. After you confirm, Merch Factory remembers it against the store's own product or SKU id, so the next order of that item is matched without guessing.
Prepare. Claude asks Merch Factory for courier prices for the customer's pincode and creates a draft. The price comes from Merch Factory, never from Claude. Nothing is charged for a draft.
Place. If Claude is sure of every detail and you switched on automatic ordering, it can place the order inside the limits you set. Otherwise it leaves the draft for you.
When Claude is not sure
It stops and asks you.
If anything is unclear (an address that could be read two ways, a product matched only by name, an odd phone number or pincode, a missing landmark, a total that does not add up), Claude marks the draft "check before placing" and tells you why, in words like: "I am not sure about order #1042 because the address could be two streets. Please check it and click Place in Merch Factory."
Such a draft is never placed automatically, whatever your limits are. You find it under Integrations → Claude with a yellow "Check before placing" label and Claude's reasons. Press Review and place, fix anything that is wrong and place it yourself.
Getting tracking back into your store
Merch Factory does not push anything into a store by itself for these orders, because it has no login to your shop. Claude does the writing, and Merch Factory keeps the list of what is new.
1. Ask Claude: "Sync tracking for my Merch Factory orders."
2. Claude asks Merch Factory which orders have a new tracking number, courier, tracking link or status (shipped, delivered, cancelled) that the store does not know yet. Merch Factory does not send the customer's phone, email or street address in that list.
3. Claude writes each one into the right store, using that store's connector or your browser, for example by marking the order fulfilled with the tracking number.
4. Claude tells Merch Factory which orders it updated, so they stop appearing in the list until something changes again (for example when the parcel is delivered).
Because Claude does this when you ask, tracking is not instant. Run it once or twice a day, or set it up as a recurring task in Claude. Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix with the built-in integration update by themselves.
What keeps it safe
The same store order can never become two orders, even if Claude is asked twice.
Claude cannot invent a price, a courier or a discount: those come from Merch Factory.
Artwork, stock and print quality are checked before anything is placed.
Automatic orders stay inside your limits: maximum order value, orders per day, spend per day and a wallet floor you choose. A kill switch pauses everything.
Anything Claude flags as unsure waits for you.
Start small
For a new store, leave automatic ordering off for the first few orders and look at each draft. Once the drafts are right, switch it on with low limits and raise them as you gain trust.
